Indigo swirls wind through matte drops of dumortierite in these handmade, one-of-a-kind earrings. The unusual blue inclusions appear to be rolling up and downstream within the rich earrings—gold or silver roses add a soft contrast to the earrings' cool hues.

These earrings are limited edition. Once sold out, these earrings will no longer be available. Please note: each pair of earrings will vary in pattern and color due to the nature of the stones.

WEARS WELL WITH

These earrings feature dumortierite gemstones.

Select one of two metal options:
•Bright solid sterling silver (ear wires, roses, and bail). Weight approx. 1.8 grams each.
•Solid 14k yellow gold (ear wires, roses, and bail). Weight is approx. 1.9 grams each.

Length is 29mm from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the shell. Drop is 17mm from the bottom of the ear wire to the bottom of the stone, and width is 8mm at its widest point.

The roses have a matte finish.

Dumortierite was discovered in 1881 in the Rhône-Alps region of France and has been loved since for its blue and violet inclusions. Dumortierite's inclusions vary from inky and fluid to spindly like a spider's moving legs. Prismatic and unique, dumortierite is one of Mother Nature's many ethereal beauties.

Care: While dumortierite is relatively durable, avoid dropping dumortierite onto hard surfaces. To clean your dumortierite jewelry, use warm soapy water.
