Quahog shell drops are adorned with Garden roses in these handmade, limited-edition earrings. Evoking the shades of beach roses in bloom, these striking earrings harmonize the wilds of the seaside and the intricacies of tended-to gardens.

These earrings are limited edition. Once sold out, these earrings will no longer be available. Please note: each pair of earrings will vary in pattern and color due to the nature of the shells. Some have more purple and others more white.

These earrings feature North American quahog shell in white and purple hues. Each pair varies.

Select one of two metal options:
•Bright solid sterling silver (ear wires, roses, and bail). Weight approx. 2.2 grams each.
•Solid 14k yellow gold (ear wires, roses, and bail). Weight is approx. 2.4 grams each.

Length is 45mm from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the shell. Width is 6mm at its widest point.

The roses have a matte finish.

Quahogs are a marine bivalve found in North and Central America. They are generally called "clams" and are used in many foods, particularly clam chowder. Quahog shells are white and royal purple; they were once carved into beads, called "wampum," and traded as currency by the indigenous people of the Eastern Woodlands Tribes of North America.
