Comprised of one-of-a-kind, handmade pieces—the Milgrain collection is Art Deco inspired, and evokes old-world glamour amidst naturalistic elements. The exceptionally ornate setting of each piece houses a myriad of modern and antique, mine cut diamonds, as well as colorful gemstones.
The textured border of the milgrain setting is named for the french term that translates to a thousand grains. The setting has a rich history, but is best known for its renaissance in the Art Deco era.
HBJ's Milgrain collection incorporates both bezel and bead settings (akin to a pave setting) to modernize the milgrain texture, while also featuring varying designs including mosaics, ocular motifs and geometric elements that evoke Victorian cobblestones.
